Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Salesforce & Veeva Developer to design, develop, and maintain solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem and Veeva CRM platform. The role demands a strong understanding of CRM processes, data modeling, and custom development on both Salesforce and Veeva platformsprimarily for the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA testers, and product owners to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications supporting commercial and medical business Responsibilities: - Develop, configure, and maintain applications on Salesforce CRM and Veeva CRM platforms. - Customize Veeva modules (e.g., Veeva Medical, Veeva Commercial, Veeva Vault, etc.) as per business requirements. - Design and implement Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce pages in Salesforce. - Perform Veeva-specific configurations like Approved Email, CLM, Engage Meeting, Territory Management, and Call Reporting. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into functional solutions. - Integrate Salesforce/Veeva with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), and Veeva Vault API. - Implement and maintain validation rules, workflows, process builder flows, and custom objects. - Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support UAT with thorough documentation. - Ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data security regulations in regulated environments. - Support releases, upgrades, and performance tuning of Veeva and Salesforce Technical Platform: - Proficient in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and LWC - Experience with Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, workflows, page layouts) - Familiarity with Salesforce DX, CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Copado, CRM & Vault: - Hands-on with Veeva CRM configuration, including Approved Email, CLM Presentations, and MyInsights dashboards - Experience with Veeva Vault API, data loader, and data model customization - Understanding of Veeva Network, Medical Events, and MedComms (if Experience integrating Salesforce/Veeva with third-party systems - Knowledge of middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) - Web services: REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JSON, XML Preferred Skills: - Experience working in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Biotech domain - Understanding of Salesforce Health Cloud or Service Cloud is a plus - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and collaboration tools like JIRA, or Veeva certifications : - Veeva CRM Certified Admin / Developer - Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, App : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field - 37 years of experience in Salesforce development, with 2 years in Veeva CRM/Vault development - Strong documentation, problem-solving, and communication Skills : - Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated - Strong collaboration with business and technical teams - Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a regulated environment (ref:hirist.tech)
