iAM Developer - LDAP/Identity Management

Job Overview : As an IAM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. You will work with security teams, application developers, and IT administrators to ensure secure authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management across enterprise applications and systems. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop IAM solutions to manage user identities, roles, and permissions. - Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using IAM tools. - Work with protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and LDAP. - Develop and integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions. - Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements. - Automate identity provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC). - Perform IAM security assessments and implement best practices. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate IAM solutions with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Monitor and troubleshoot IAM-related security incidents. - Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance on IAM implementations. Technical Skills & Qualifications : Must-Have Skills : - Proficiency in IAM tools such as Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, SailPoint, or Microsoft Azure AD. - Strong understanding of identity federation, access management, and directory services. - Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and LDAP. - Hands-on experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC). - Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions like CyberArk or BeyondTrust. - Experience integrating IAM with cloud services (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM). - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or PowerShell for automation and scripting. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deploying IAM policies and configurations. - Proficiency in RESTful API integrations for identity services. - Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and identity governance best practices. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Experience with Hybrid IAM solutions (on-premises & cloud). - Knowledge of certificate-based authentication and PKI. - Understanding of DevSecOps and security automation. - Experience with log analysis and SIEM tools for IAM monitoring.
