NAVA Software - Cloud Solution Architect - Docker/Kubernetes

This role requires a deep understanding of both business and technical aspects, enabling the Solutions Architect to align technology solutions with the company's strategic objectives and works closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams. The candidate needs to be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based architectures, ensuring high performance, security, scalability, cost efficiency and requires a comprehensive understanding of AWS services, hybrid cloud deployments, and cloud infrastructure best practices. Key Responsibilities : 1. Solution Design : a. Assess and develop detailed solution architectures and translate into technical cloud strategies to meet business requirements. b. Ensure that solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards (Security, Compliance and Governance) and best practices. c. Build, test and deploy a robust hybrid AWS infrastructure involving AWS Outpost and AWS public cloud regions. d. Define the technology stack, tools, and frameworks for the solution. e. Fundamental understanding on Azure HCI & GCP Anthos (Good to have). 2. Stakeholder Engagement : a. Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements. b. Present solution designs and architecture strategies to stakeholders, including senior management. c. Coordinate between business units and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and understanding of requirements. 3. Implementation Oversight : a. Provide technical leadership during the implementation phase of projects. b. Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are delivered according to design specifications. c. Conduct design and code reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of the solution. d. Identify and address any technical challenges or risks that arise during implementation. e. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential issues. 4. Technology Evaluation : a. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to meet business needs. b. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the use of best-in-class solutions. c. Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions on existing systems and infrastructure. 5. Documentation and Reporting : a. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of solution architectures, including diagrams, technical specifications, and guidelines. b. Provide regular updates and reports on the status of projects and solutions to stakeholders. c. Prepare technical documentation and training materials for IT teams and end-users. 6. Quality Assurance : a. Ensure that solutions meet non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and security. b. Implement and enforce standards for coding, testing, and deployment to maintain high quality. c. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential issues. Required Skills and Qualifications : 1. Education : a. A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. 2. Experience : a. Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, including experience as a software developer for 4 years, Solutions architect, or in a similar role. b. Proven experience in designing and implementing complex solutions across different domains (e.g., e-commerce, finance, healthcare). 3. Technical Skills : a. Proficiency in programming languages and in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell). b. Experience on databases, application servers, and integration frameworks. c. Experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS/EKS) or the event-driven solution architecture. d. Familiarity with DevOps practices and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications. 4. Certifications : a. Must have the AWS Solution Architect Associate b.
