What will you get to work on? As a member of the core engineering team, you will : - Work with the founders in co-creating the product. - Develop a PLG SaaS that scales globally. - Define the DNA of the engineering team at Osfin. What do we expect from you? Hustle We're young, lean, and in our early days. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to build best-in-class product. - Proficiency in Java/J2EE (Hibernate, Spring, MVC), MySQL, & rest services implementation. - Experience in developing web applications at a startup is a plus. - At least 8 years of experience in software engineering and at least 2 years of engineering management experience. - You know what high-quality code and software engineering processes are and know how to foster an environment that creates them. - Execution-focused with an ability to navigate ambiguity with the ability to do both long-term thinking and short-term planning. - Experience creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale. - Proven track record of delivering projects that include multiple components from design through implementation and support. - Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews. - Improve test coverage for services, organise and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas. - Consider testability, monitoring, observability, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when the code is ready to be shared and delivered.
