Senior ABAP Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer with Lead Experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong ABAP core skills (RICEFW) and experience in developing SAP OData, Web Services, and RESTful APIs. The role requires ownership, accountability, and a problem-solving mindset to design and implement scalable SAP solutions. The candidate should have strong analytical skills and excellent communication to bridge business needs with technical solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP applications, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW). - Develop and implement SAP OData services, Web Services, and RESTful APIs for integration with external systems. - Utilize modern ABAP 7.4 features to enhance performance and code efficiency. - Work on ABAP CDS (Core Data Services) and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for optimized data processing. - Develop and optimize ABAP solutions for SAP S/4HANA. - Implement performance tuning techniques for better system efficiency. - Leverage modern ABAP programming paradigms to improve system responsiveness. - Lead solutioning efforts, including requirement gathering, designing, and building scalable solutions. - Guide the team in best practices, code reviews, and troubleshooting. - Ensure high coding standards and adherence to SAP development guidelines. - Drive the adoption of SAP's latest technologies and frameworks. - Work closely with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to understand business requirements. - Translate business needs into technical solutions and actionable development tasks. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP solutions. - Take ownership of the development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment. - Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions. - Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Required Skills & Expertise : - Strong ABAP core skills (RICEFW - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows). - Experience in SAP OData/Web Service/RESTful API development. - Strong problem-solving and solutioning ability. - Experience in requirement gathering, designing, building, and deploying SAP solutions. - Excellent analytical and communication skills to interact with business and technical teams. - ABAP 7.4 coding experience (New Syntax, Inline Declarations, Table Expressions, etc.). - Experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP development. - ABAP CDS (Core Data Services) and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) experience. - SAP Fiori/UI5 integration experience. - Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform. - Strong ownership and accountability. - Ability to work independently and lead a development team. - Excellent collaboration and mentoring skills. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
