Data Integration Specialist

Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data ingestion workflows, unifying data across systems, and ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce Data Cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and deliver reliable, real-time data for the business. Key Responsibilities : - Design and Implement Data Ingestion Workflows - Develop and execute data ingestion workflows that bring data from multiple sources into Salesforce Data Cloud. - Ensure the seamless flow of data from systems, applications, and external databases to Salesforce Data Cloud for further processing and analysis. - Unify and Harmonize Data - Work with data engineers, analysts, and architects to unify data from different systems, platforms, and silos. - Harmonize the data to create a 360 customer view, ensuring that all customer information across systems is consolidated and accessible. - Develop and Maintain Integrations - Utilize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and APIs (both REST and SOAP) to design and maintain integration pipelines. - Leverage integration tools such as MuleSoft, Apache Nifi, or similar to connect various systems and enable efficient data exchange. - Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams - Work closely with data architects, developers, and business teams to gather integration requirements and implement solutions. - Participate in business and technical discussions to understand the overall data strategy and ensure integration solutions align with business objectives. - Monitor and Optimize Data Integration Performance - Continuously monitor the performance of data integration workflows to ensure data accuracy and timeliness. - Implement optimization strategies to ensure that data ingestion and integration are efficient, with real-time data availability across systems. - Ensure Data Privacy and Governance Compliance - Ensure all data integration processes comply with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and industry best practices. - Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure that integration solutions adhere to company policies on data privacy, security, and governance. - Activate Unified Data for Business Use - Ensure that unified data is readily available and activated for use across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud. - Enable business teams to leverage unified data for customer insights, marketing automation, sales forecasting, and customer service Skills and Experience : Salesforce Data Cloud Experience : - Strong hands-on experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Salesforce CDP). You should be comfortable with its features, data storage models, and how to leverage it for customer data management. ETL Processes : - Proficiency in ETL processes and tools, with a strong understanding of data mapping, data transformation, and data loading. API Integration : - Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs for data integration. You should be proficient in integrating different systems and services via APIs to ensure smooth data exchange. Middleware Solutions : - Familiarity with middleware integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Dell Boomi for enabling seamless data movement across applications and databases. Data Modeling and Schema Design : - A solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and customer data platforms (CDPs) to enable efficient storage, retrieval, and management of customer data. Data Privacy and Governance : - Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and the ability to ensure compliance in all integration processes. Good-to-Have Skills and Experience : - Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Customer 360 : - Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud to understand the end-to-end flow of data within the Salesforce ecosystem. Cloud Data Platforms : - Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery for data storage and analytics. Salesforce Certifications : - Salesforce certifications such as Data Cloud Consultant, Integration Architect, or similar certifications are highly preferred.
