Senior Backend Engineer

Job Title : Senior Backend Engineer Location : Gurugram Experience : 57 Years Industry : AI SaaS Product Key Responsibilities : - Design and Develop : Architect and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices. - Database Management : Manage and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases for efficient performance. - API Integration : Develop and maintain RESTful APIs; experience with GraphQL is a plus. - Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and security of backend systems. - Code Reviews & Best Practices : Conduct peer code reviews, uphold coding standards, and mentor junior developers. - Collaboration : Work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps for seamless integration and delivery. - Troubleshooting : Identify and fix bugs, improve system reliability, and ensure backend stability. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 35 years of backend development experience. - Proficiency in backend programming languages: Python, Java, Go, or Node.js. - Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis. - Strong experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is advantageous. - Solid grasp of microservices architecture and related frameworks. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. - Proficient in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. - Understanding of backend security practices, including authentication and data protection. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka. - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Exposure to agile methodologies and fast-paced development cycles. - Experience in leading backend modules or mentoring developers.
