We are searching for: Ruby Developer (Medior and Senior Level) Location: Milan, Italy (Sarajevo and Surat potential locations) Work type: Remote / Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Responsibilities Communicate regularly with stakeholders, project managers, QA teams, and developers to ensure alignment with the technology roadmap. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain workflow visibility and workload balance for seamless delivery. Design and oversee testing schedules across diverse browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance. Write high-quality, maintainable code and unit/e2e tests that meets team standards for performance and quality. Evaluate and recommend system solutions by analyzing custom development and off-the-shelf alternatives. Must-Have Skills Strong understanding of the Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails. Excellent documentation skills to clearly explain application workflows, system design, and functionality. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Proficiency in MVC architecture, Mocking, ORM, RESTful and GraphQL concepts. Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single system. Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js and/or React.js. Understanding concept of deployment, and CI/CD. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Nice-to-Have Skills Have experience with Sidekiq and Redis. Understanding of server-side templating languages like Liquid. Experience in eCommerce website development preferably with Shopify.
