Job Description
We are recruiting for a Senior/Principal Consultant to work closely with the Steer international transaction team and play a pivotal role in supporting the development of our global Ports & Maritime offer. The successful candidate will conduct strategic, market and technical analyses of port and maritime assets, lead tasks on large projects and manage small / medium projects by displaying initiative, strong critical thinking and team working. Qualifications required Master’s degree in Economics, Management or Engineering or equivalent Proven experience in the advisory sector, working closely with public and private organisations in the ports & maritime sector What we'd like from you: Experience in the Ports & Maritime sector is a must , including experience in the advisory sector Located in Europe (preferably in Italy) Fluency in English (preferably also in Italian and/or Spanish) Conducting strategic, economic and market analyses Ability to take a Project Manager role and deliver successful projects (time, cost, quality) Ability to create reports in a logical and well-structured way, narrative development / story telling Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly and with confidence analyses’ findings to non-technical audiences and to engage with clients Excellent interpersonal skills, time-management and ability to work as part of a team Ability to take initiative and work independently Desirable additional attributes Previous experience in Due Diligence mandates, in particular commercial Entrepreneurial spirit to support work winning Business case development Social and cultural responsibility is an important part of our culture and values.
