Electronic Engineer senior

Reports to: Electronics Engineering Manager Key Tasks: - Design specialized microprocessor/microcontroller based embedded systems - Design analog/digital signal processing embedded systems - Design power supply and power control systems (AC/DC motors, stepper motors, frequency converters) - Prepare thorough and accurate documentation for release to manufacturing and internal product design records - Test and validate PCBA to assure product performance and quality Development can be multi-location team oriented, depending on projects Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electronics or relevant technical field 4-5 years experience in electronic PCBA design Electronic CAD proficiency – schematics and layout (Orcad/Altium) Familiar with simulation tools Familiar with electronics lab and measuring tools Familiar with electrical/EMC regulations – CE/UL/CSA Good problem solving and analytical skills Fluency in English both written and spoken Able to work with other members of the team Willing to travel and to spend short periods abroad Snap-on Equipment is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices and laws.
