Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

Datacenter People is a specialized recruitment company working with a Global Main Contractor who are looking for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Milan, Italy. Responsibilities Responsible for the quantification and cost management of large scale building services within the Electrical/Mechanical/Process/HVAC Systems and Piping Involvement in bidding stage of projects Ability to manage sub contractors Preparation of measures and tender documentation for a variety of Engineering type projects Work with bidders on tenders communicating key timelines in respect of bid responses and ensure that all contributors have a clear understanding of the scope of their bid Ability to work with other contract disciplines such as Engineers, Architects and Project Managers Experience/Education Demonstrable experience in Electrical / Mechanical / Process / HVAC systems BSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject Knowledge of BIM 3D would be beneficial Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills Understanding of drawings, scope and cost drivers within a construction project A positive attitude and an ability to grow and develop role Understanding of construction methodology and programme Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Construction J-18808-Ljbffr
