We are currently looking for a Security Engineer to join our client’s team and contribute to their mission of protecting global enterprises from cyber threats. Your role is: -> Conduct in-depth evaluations to uncover weaknesses in software code, focusing on languages like JavaScript, C#, Java, or SQL databases -> Guide and educate development teams on crafting secure applications and addressing identified flaws effectively -> Utilize a mix of manual techniques and automated tools to pinpoint potential risks within source code -> Propose and explore open-source solutions to enhance the process of secure software evaluation -> Create detailed reports outlining discovered issues, their potential impact on operations, and steps for resolution -> Share expertise with colleagues to elevate team capabilities and improve assessment quality -> Promote methods to embed security testing seamlessly into the software development lifecycle Your skills and experiences: -> At least 3 years of expertise in areas like web application testing, threat analysis, or reviewing code for security -> At least 2 years specializing in static analysis or equivalent secure code examination -> Strong grasp of common security risks, such as those listed in OWASP Top 10 or CWE Top 25, with skills to locate and fix issues in code -> Ability to communicate the significance and consequences of code vulnerabilities to diverse stakeholders -> Undergraduate degree in a field like Computer Science or Engineering -> Advanced English (minimum B2 level) Nice to have: -> Proficiency in identifying and advising on flaws in at least two of: SQL, Java, JavaScript, or C# -> Practical experience with industry-standard static analysis tools, such as Checkmarx or similar platforms -> Background in programming, particularly with server-side languages -> Master's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent Our client offers: Great opportunity for personal development in a stable and friendly large multinational company Start-up mentality, agile teams Career growth and additional education.
