Data Engineer

The Data Engineering chapter consists of several scrum teams. We work on all kinds of goals in these teams. Keeping a close eye on progress is extremely important. And preventing or removing bottlenecks is part of that. This is how we increase the reliability of the grid. You work from a group of colleagues and together you further professionalize the field. As a data engineer, you join a group of approximately 120 data engineers From 2025, the scope of our team will be expanded and we will also create data products & reports for managing and maintaining the smart meter. For this scope expansion we are looking for reinforcement and as a medior BI specialist you will contribute to the following: Developing data products using Matillion and Snowflake Understanding source data and being able to translate it into a uniform data model; Visualizing data using PowerBI based on user requirements Developing management-friendly implementations that meet the highest quality requirements; Must haves: Minimum HBO work and thinking level; Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer (medior/senior); Practical experience and vision on the use of Snowflake, Matillion or similar orchestration tools Knowledge of Git, SQL; Practical experience with PowerBI Knowledge of Python Source access & AWS web services Experience with dimensional modeling
