Transaction Services Assistant

THE ROLE We are currently recruiting for a Transaction Services Assistant who will be based at our Bellshill office. This is an excellent opportunity to join our finance team and support by processing invoices on the ledger, processing invoices in a timely manner and ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Key duties will include, but not be limited to: Matching invoices to purchase orders and coding invoices accurately to ensure costs are captured correctly Reviewing expenses and credit card claims Daily cash book postings for direct debits and standing orders Weekly reviews to work through any invoice queries for documents that have been rejected in our finance system Fortnightly reviews of the accounts payable ledger to help identify any amendments required Journal entries for bank postings Producing reports as and when requested Assistance with audit queries and general associated tasks. SKILLS REQUIRED A positive, willing and enthusiastic attitude Excellent communication skills both verbally and written The ability to work to strict deadlines A proactive approach to tasks whilst being able to prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently Strong and demonstratable MS excel skills. For instance - XLOOKUPS and knowledge and understanding of pivot tables.
