Control Panel Wirer Baines £15ph DOE Contract ( starting at 4 weeks likely to be extended) As a Control Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing control panels to meet technical specifications and industry standards. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. Wire control panels, including components such as PLCs, relays, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks. Perform panel assembly, cable routing, and labeling to ensure neat and efficient installations. Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to meet project deadlines. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Control Panel Wirer or similar role in electrical assembly. Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Knowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques, and industry standards (e.g., UL, CE). Familiarity with tools such as crimpers, strippers, and multimeters. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
