Technical Trainer

Leading UK Consultancy seeking an experienced engineer to deliver training in maintenance and fault finding on a range of PLCs, HMIs and Drives. If you have experience in Electrical Maintenance / Service Engineering, as an EC&I Engineer or a background within Controls / Automation this is an opportunity to use your experience training in an industrial environment. Instructor / Trainer - PLC & Automation £45,000 - £55,000 Car/Allowance, Overtime, BUPA & Benefits Northamptonshire Ref: 23929 Instructor / Trainer - PLC & Automation - The Role: Primarily delivering a range of key industrial courses Working with clients across a range of business sectors including some of the largest blue-chip businesses in the UK Developing and maintaining good training notes and materials Building new examples and exercises for the training Travelling to customer sites for training and skills assessment Delivering courses in a dedicated training centre, on client sites across the UK (up to a week at a time) and occasionally overseas Instructor / Trainer - PLC & Automation - The Person: Knowledge and experience of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, Drives or Industrial Networking Clear communication skills and a strong desire to help others learn Experience with leading PLC & Automation products (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron and Mitsubishi Full UK driving licence Prior experience in coaching, mentoring or delivering training would be an advantage You will be given full training to transition into an Instructor role supported by an experienced team of trainers to deliver market leading training courses. As an Instructor / Trainer – PLC & Automation, you'll enjoy a full-time permanent position with a working day from 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday. You'll get 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and the opportunity to improve your professional skills learning new hardware and software as required. You'll also have the opportunity to support the running and development of the business.
