This role involves 3D CAD design (SolidWorks), engineering analysis, material selection, and manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions. You will collaborate across disciplines, lead design reviews, support production, and liaise with customers and suppliers to drive project success. What we want from you: A degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential. Experience in designing complex mechanisms and structures for harsh environments, ideally within the defence industry. Proven ability to lead the full design lifecycle, from concept development to production. Strong analytical skills for designing gear drives, bearings, and motor systems. Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD for 3D modeling and design.
