Your new company SME business that has doubled its turnover in the last 18 months and has a growing customer base both in the UK and internationally.The company has a great culture, offers hybrid working and people consistently feedback how much they enjoy working for the business.Based in South Lancashire / North Merseyside, this is a great opportunity for an accountant (QBE or Qualified) who is looking to work for an SME business as a Company Accountant. Your new role As Company Accountant you will oversee the work of a small accounts team and ensure that all monthly accounting and reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner.You'll work with the operational teams to help them understand the financial performance of their business areas and will support them with analysis to help them make better decisions.You'll also work closely with the Group FD and CEO to assist with commercial and financial accounting matters at a group level. What you'll need to succeed We are looking for an experienced accountant (QBE or Qualified) who is interested in leading a finance team in an SME environment.You should have strong Excel skills as alot of the analysis work is conducted in Excel.Ideally you will have worked in an industrial / manufacturing environment although this is not essential.
