The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, customer service, inventory management, and financial performance. Responsibilities: Oversee the overall daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, high standards of food and beverage quality, and a positive guest experience. Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure consistent adherence to operational policies, procedures, and safety standards, including food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation practices. Monitor and manage restaurant financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control (labor, food, and beverage costs) to maximize profitability. Drive sales through effective promotional strategies, exceptional customer service, and ensuring repeat guest visits. Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and special requests in a professional, timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and set actionable goals for the restaurant team to achieve operational and financial targets. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, events, and special offers to increase brand awareness and guest engagement. Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, cost-effective ordering, and minimizing waste. Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety codes. Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and high levels of employee morale. Qualifications: 5 years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position at a high-volume or upscale establishment. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop staff. Proven ability to manage multiple aspects of a business, including operations, finances, customer service, and employee relations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns or operational challenges effectively. Solid understanding of restaurant financials, cost control, and inventory management. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, staff, and management. Knowledge of health, safety, and food sanitation regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Office, and other restaurant management software.
