Lead Python Developer - Flask/Django

Job Description : We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Python Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Python development, along with a strong understanding of back-end web development, DevOps practices, and database management. You will be responsible for leading the development of robust and scalable applications, ensuring high performance and reliability. Responsibilities : - Lead the development of back-end web applications and services using Python. - Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reusable Python code. - Implement object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. - Write and maintain unit and integration tests. - Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services. - Integrate applications with databases and other systems. - Optimize application performance and scalability. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker. - Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation tasks. - Manage message queues using RabbitMQ and Kafka. - Work with Linux systems and perform system administration tasks. - Design and implement database schemas. - Write and optimize database queries. - Ensure data integrity and security. - Designing full-stack web applications and integrations (Open API, REST, SOAP, RPC, web sockets, HTTPS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Temporal). - Contribute to the design and architecture of complex systems. - Mentor and guide junior developers. - Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time. - Work in a 2 PM to 11 PM shift. - Be flexible to work on US time if required. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 8 years of experience in Python development. - Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). - Extensive experience in back-end web development. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. - Proficiency in database management (SQL, NoSQL). - Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka). - Strong understanding of Linux systems. - Experience with Event resolution automation. - Experience with Service Now. - Experience designing full-stack web applications and integrations (Open API, REST, SOAP, RPC, web sockets, HTTPS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Temporal). - Strong shell scripting skills. - Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs. - Ability to work US hours when required.
