Peoplesoft Developer

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement PeopleSoft customizations and enhancements using PeopleTools (8.54 to 8.59). - Utilize Application Designer extensively to create and modify PeopleSoft objects (records, pages, components, menus, etc.) - Write efficient and well-documented PeopleCode for application logic and integrations. - Develop and maintain SQR reports for data extraction and reporting needs. - Build and optimize Application Engine programs for batch processing and data manipulation. - Create and consume Component Interfaces for seamless integration with other systems. - Design and develop user-friendly and responsive Fluid user interfaces for various devices. - Leverage Fluid framework to create modern and intuitive PeopleSoft pages and components. - Ensure accessibility and optimal user experience in Fluid applications. - Apply your in-depth knowledge of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions module (e.g, Student Records, Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Campus Community) to development tasks. - Understand business processes within the higher education domain and translate them into effective technical solutions within PeopleSoft. - Configure and customize Campus Solutions components to meet specific business requirements. - Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to the creation of technical specifications. - Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, including design documents, unit test plans, and deployment guides. - Analyze and resolve technical issues and defects within the PeopleSoft environment. - Provide technical support to functional teams and end-users. - Participate in system upgrades and patching activities. - Work closely with functional analysts, business users, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Skills Required : - 6 years of hands-on development experience using PeopleTools (8.54 to 8.59). - Strong proficiency in Fluid Development, including the creation of Fluid pages and components. - Extensive experience in Application Designer, including the creation and modification of PeopleSoft objects. - Solid expertise in writing PeopleCode for various application functionalities. - Proven ability to develop and maintain SQR reports. - Strong experience in developing and optimizing Application Engine programs. - Hands-on experience with Component Interface development and integration. - Strong understanding of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions module and its functionalities. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
