Windows Technical Architect - Active Directory

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Windows Technical Architect to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will possess 15 years of experience in Windows and Windows Server administration, with deep expertise in network protocols, virtualization, cloud technologies, and security. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable Windows-based solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record of delivering complex projects. Responsibilities : - Design and implement enterprise-level Windows infrastructure solutions. - Develop and maintain architecture standards, policies, and procedures. - Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and efficiency. - Plan and execute system migrations and upgrades. - Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance. - Configure and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services. - Implement and manage security policies and procedures. - Design and implement network solutions using TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. - Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards. - Troubleshoot complex network issues. - Design and manage virtualized environments using Hyper-V and VMware. - Implement and manage cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS. - Develop and maintain cloud automation scripts using PowerShell. - Design and implement backup and recovery solutions. - Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans. - Ensure data integrity and availability. - Implement and manage system monitoring using System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). - Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Troubleshoot complex system and network issues. - Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. - Provide technical support to other teams. - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation. - Prepare reports on system performance and availability. - Communicate with all levels of staff. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 15 years of experience in Windows and Windows Server administration. - Deep expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. - Strong experience with firewalls and intrusion detection systems. - Extensive experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization. - Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting. - Expertise in System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). - Strong understanding of backup and recovery solutions and disaster recovery planning. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to design high availability solutions - Relevant certifications (e.g. , MCSE, Azure certifications, AWS certifications). - Experience with automation and configuration management tools. - Experience with containerization technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
